From the moment you walk in you are greeted by the receptionist Alex she is very friendly and helpful young lady ! When you go to the back Miss Andria sits you down and starts asking you what you are there for and they start the process of shaping you into a new person.Dr. Chan comes in and starts asking questions and gets a game plan going. Mr. Wendell starts taking pictures and is the one who removes all the stitches and drains for you. He makes you feel like you’re a special patient but this is how he treats everyone. My personal experience with Dr. Davis and his team was absolutely wonderful. From start to finish procedures and expectations were clearly explained and demonstrated. Andria and Dawn one of the sweetest and most professional ladies always had my answers so that I had no surprises. Dr. Chan is an amazing doctor. I first met him 9 yrs ago when I had breast cancer in left breast that required a mastectomy. He was working in the burn unit at BAMC at that time. At every appt, he answered every question I had (and I had a lot), never rushing me, always explaining everything every clearly. Professional, caring, compassionate, with a great bedside manner at the hospital. He did a tram-flap reconstruction and it went smoothly and w/o issues. Follow up was regular and always with the greatest concern for me. I found Dr. Chan again in July of this year when I was diagnosed with breast cancer in my rt breast. He did a needle expansion reconstruction this time. Again, no problems, follow up was like clockwork. He's at STARS now and the staff there are amazing. I couldn't offer a higher recommendation for Dr. Chan and STARS. If I ever need any type of plastic surgery in the future, he's the only doctor I will see. More

Where do I begin? I got a referral from my insurance to go to Stars. The very first thing I did after I got my appointment with Dr. Gronet was look at Google reviews 4.9 sold me without reading but of course I had to read. Everything positive written about them is true. I felt comfortable and like I was talking to friends and not someone I was going to do business with. Dawn is amazing and awesome and Dr. Gronet told me what he could do for me. I had surgery 4 days ago and I feel and look amazing. My thighs are tight of course still swollen but what I’ve been able to see looks amazing. He took fat from my thighs and put some in my face and I went from age 57 to my late 30s. That’s still swollen also. I can’t wait to see my results in a few months. I wanted to wait to write this. But I couldn’t help myself. I would like to give STARS over 5 if possible. Lets start off by saying that the staff is the friendliest. From the moment I rang that doorbell, the receptionist welcomed me, took my temperature, made sure I had my mask for MY safety and others and offered me drinks. I wait time was maybe between 3-5 min at most and within that time, I was able to talk to the staff and feel comfortable in what I thought was a scary environment. Dawn is the sweetest, she listened to me every appointment and made me feel as if I had known her forever. Dr Kunasz is without a doubt an artist. He gave me his insight in what he thought were going to bring me the most espectacular results and I trusted him. He delivered! I am now 3 weeks post op and I have my confidence back. I have a tattoo on my left side that he took his time throughout surgery to make sure it did not look off or weird after surgery. He made it work, he was considerate all along and his work speak louder that any review I could write. My belly button is absolutely beautiful, and that was art made by Wendell. I was recommended to Dr. Chen and after my consultation he gave me immediate advice and answers. As I went through surgery he found issues others had not, and he performed the surgery to take care of the issue. After the surgery Dr. Chen and his nurse practitioner Dawn, helped me tremendously. They were very patient and kind with me as we went through the paper work, etc. I feel much comfort in going to them and still am very happy with their dedication to me through my surgery and healing. I'm doing a lot of travel, only staying in one area for about a week at a time. I called STARS and they were very attentive and accommodating. They scheduled an online evaluation with Dr. Chan the next day and were able to complete the procedure a few days later.Everyone was extremely professional and friendly. They were extremely good about social distancing. Although I had to wait a bit outside the office, I never even saw another patient while I was in the office, I only could see them going in and out.Dr. Chan was very competent and easy to talk to. I was made very comfortable during the procedure and it came out perfectly. I had zero pain while it was being done and, very minimal pain the next day, and none after that, without taking any pain medication. Very happy! More

During our initial consultation for the tummy tuck, Dr. Chan said that he could improve the look of a very large ugly scar from a previous surgery and that he recommend that I go with an Extended Abdominoplasty. I was trying to allow a severe burn wound of mine that had occurred 6 weeks before I met Dr Chan to heal by secondary intention, but the wound only healed up to a certain point, then stalled. Dr Chan immediately arranged surgery to apply a skin graft after he reviewed photos of my burn. His bedside manner was wonderful! He spent a lot of time explaining treatment option advantages and disadvantages (including non-surgical. I was chicken of having anesthesia.) I had surgery for my hidradenitis supportiva with Dr.Chan and on the initial visit for my assessment he went thoroughly through all my options, the process, and what to expect from surgery and the healing process. He was so patient with our questions and concerns, my parents are pretty protective lol. But not only did he put their mind at ease, so did his staff as well. I was paired up with Dr. Chan through another surgeon, I needed a left side mastectomy and we did a diep flap reconstruction. I was so nervous about this procedure but Dr. Chan did a great job explaining everything to me and my husband. When he included my husband by asking if he had any questions it really helped both of us feel so comfortable with him and his team. We knew we made the right choice. I am about 6 months out from my surgery, I had a phase II surgery and it was out patient - it went very quickly and he targeted everything I was concerned about at this tine. All of my incision sights are pencil thin scars, Dr. Chan and his team take great pride in ensuring the incision sights are as thin and smooth as possible.
